Pet Therapy – Canines on Campus

Tuesday, April 30 might have been the happiest day of the semester…Pet Therapy Day! Students had the opportunity to bring their dogs to the Dionne Green to visit with fellow Royals!

“It’s so fun to see everyone get so excited!” Cory Freivald ’20 said.

Pet Therapy – Canines on Campus is an event held by Campus Ministries’ Center for Service and Social Justice.  The purpose of the event is to provide stress relief to students and give them an opportunity to relax before dead week and finals.

“It comes at a great time because everyone starts to really miss their pets at the end of the semester,” Katherine Melilli ’20 said.

Dozens of Royals gathered on the green to meet all the dogs, take photos with them, and enjoy some time without worrying about the stress of upcoming final exams.
