I would like to introduce myself to everyone before I start blogging. I went to the University of Scranton for my undergrad in accounting and MBA with a concentration in accounting. I was a local commuter student and enjoyed every moment I spent on campus. Commuting can be difficult because you don’t get to know as many people right away, however, Scranton made it very easy to integrate into life on campus. I made friends pretty quickly and got very involved in clubs and different activities offered on campus. One of my favorites was Pet Therapy day. I am in love with dogs so it was great to be able to take a break from school work and play with all these adorable dogs.
After I got my MBA, I accepted a job in Philadelphia in public accounting and I can accredit this job opportunity directly from going to Scranton. The networking opportunities available through the business school are unparalleled. I moved into my apartment this past week and will start work tomorrow morning. I feel very excited and nervous at the same time. I will be blogging more about my experience at Scranton as well as my adventures after graduating.
I hope my blog is helpful to prospective students as well as students who have recently graduated.
