This year’s Faculty Appreciation Dinner on March 27\u00a0saw the University recognizing faculty excellence. \u00a0We’ve always known we do a good job, but it’s even more gratifying when others agree with us! \u00a0We congratulate\u00a0Amye Archer, <\/strong>who won the\u00a0Part-Time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching;\u00a0 Michael Friedman, <\/strong>for winning the a standing ovation along with the\u00a0University Service and Leadership\u00a0Award; Len Gougeon,<\/strong> whose internationally known research earned him the award for\u00a0Scholarly Publication; Teresa Grettano,<\/strong>\u00a0whose collaboration with Donna Witek<\/strong>\u00a0earned them a joint award for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning;\u00a0\u00a0Susan M\u00e9ndez<\/strong>, whose teaching, service and scholarship on issues of Social Justice earned her the Provost’s\u00a0Mission and Justice Award, and\u00a0Hank Willenbrink, <\/strong>whose writing, teaching, scholarship and service cross interdisciplinary lines, and won him the Provost’s Interdisciplinary Award.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
