{"id":332,"date":"2015-06-17T18:21:59","date_gmt":"2015-06-17T22:21:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/englishandtheatre\/?p=332"},"modified":"2015-06-17T18:21:59","modified_gmt":"2015-06-17T22:21:59","slug":"dr-grettano-and-library-prof-witek-named-lirt-top-20-for-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/englishandtheatre\/2015\/06\/17\/dr-grettano-and-library-prof-witek-named-lirt-top-20-for-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Grettano and Library Prof. Witek named LIRT Top 20 for 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Assistant Professor and Director of First-Year Writing Teresa Grettano and Associate Professor and Public Service and Information Literacy Librarian Donna Witek announced that their co-written article, &#8220;Teaching metaliteracy: A new paradigm in action,&#8221; has been named by the Library Instruction Round Table of the American Library Association as one of the LIRT Top 20 2014 Library Instruction and Information Literacy articles.<\/p>\n<p>Grettano and Witek co-designed and co-teach the course WRTG 224: Rhetoric &amp; Social Media through which students analyze how their literacy practices and attitudes are shaped by their social media activity.
