It&#8217;s like being a contestant on\u00a0<em>The Bachelor<\/em>, he suggests, and it can really feel as if you&#8217;re competing for a rose from The Bachelor (of Arts).<\/p>\n<p>As he puts it, in part:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Don\u2019t get hooked on the supposed \u2018dream university\u2019. Don\u2019t try to impress a place just because everyone else is trying to impress it. In other words, don\u2019t think of the admissions game as you think of <i>The Bachelor<\/i>. The college that is right for you may not be the one others are pining after.
