Casting is complete for the upcoming production of The Importance of Being Earnest.<\/em>\u00a0 Written by Oscar Wilde, directed by Guest Artist Jennifer Rhoads in her Royal Theatre\/University Players debut, features Dan Mauro (John”Jack” Worthing), Conor Hurley (Alernon Moncrieff), Brian Lenahan (Rev. Chasuble), Nic Gangone (Merriman), James Pennington (Lane), Cillian Byrne (Lady Bracknell), Megan Lasky (Gwendolen Fairfax), Ali Basalyga (Cecily Cardew) and Victoria Kusy (Miss Prism).\u00a0 Bri Kelley will serve as Producion Stage Manager, Rich Larsen will provide scenery and lighting designs and Guest Artist Janice Tellier will design costumes.\u00a0 Performances are April 29, 30, May 1, 6-8, 2016 in the Royal Theatre.\u00a0 Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8PM and Sunday Matinee performances begin at 2PM.\u00a0 Tickets may be reserved\u00a0 online at www.thescrantonplayers.com, by emailing <players@scranton.edu<\/a>> or by phone at 570-941-4318.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
