Gasper.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;In 1998, 21 year old college student Matthew Shepard was found brutally murdered on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. His death made national news and changed the way that the country understood itself.\u00a0The Laramie Project\u00a0explores the town of Laramie, Wyoming through interviews collected by the Tectonic Theatre Project. It&#8217;s a profound portrait of a community grappling with it&#8217;s own sense of justice and identity.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Auditions for the show were conducted\u00a0August 29 &amp; 30 at 7 p.m. and September 2 at 4 p.m. in the Studio Theatre,\u00a0McDade Center for Literary &amp; Performing Arts (CLP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">PERFORMANCES: <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>October 12 &#8211; 14\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>October 19 &#8211; 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>8 p.m.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Royal Theatre, CLP.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>The <em>Beyonc\u00e9 <\/em><\/strong>was originally written by\u00a0Eliza Bent and directed by Jos\u00e9 Zayas.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8216;My Beyonc\u00e9?&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;It\u2019s more fun to say than fianc\u00e9.&#8217;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>What happens when Chekhov meets the wedding industrial complex and social media infused lives of the contemporary world? You get\u00a0The Beyonc\u00e9,\u00a0an ingenious, charming take on Chekhov&#8217;s 1902 short story,\u00a0&#8220;The Fianc\u00e9e.&#8221;\u00a0Playwright, actor, and theater maker Eliza Bent will be the first Humanities Initiative\u00a0Artist in Residence.\u00a0She will conduct a talk back following Sunday&#8217;s performance.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Auditions will be conducted
