This institute, founded by the Prussian government in 1888, is the oldest of its kind in Europe. His lecture, entitled \u201cTetzel and the Mendicant Orders,\u201d was part of an international assembly recalling the 600<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. Also the German ambassador to the Holy See hosted a dinner honoring the conferees.
