Register a second device with Duo to maintain your My.Scranton access."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you plan to purchase a new cellphone during the holidays, you will need to re-enroll your account and reconfigure your device. <strong>Since our offices close during the holidays, we recommend that users that are planning to replace their cellphones enroll a second device in Two Step today.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registering a second device prior to getting a new phone, will allow users to continue to log into the My.Scranton portal until IT support resumes on Thursday, January 2.<\/p>\n<h2>Register a Secondary Device<\/h2>\n<p>Device options include a smartphone, tablet and a hardware token (tokens can only be obtained by visiting the Technology Support).<\/p>\n<h3>Adding a Secondary Device<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/\">https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Choose an existing authentication method to log into your account<\/li>\n<li>Select <em>+ Add another device<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Choose <em>Mobile phone<\/em> or <em>Tablet (iPad, Nexus 7, etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts to add the new device<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Upon completion of the onscreen prompts, you will have enrolled a secondary device which can be used to authenticate with. The next time you log into my.scranton, you will be able to select your device and authentication method.<\/p>\n<h3>Enroll Your New Phone<\/h3>\n<p><strong>If the new device has the same phone number as the older device<\/strong>, then you will need to reactivate the new device.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/\">https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Choose an authentication method to log into your account<\/li>\n<li>Next to your cell phone device, select <em>Device Options<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Reactivate Duo Mobile<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Verify the type of phone<\/li>\n<li>Install and open the Duo App<\/li>\n<li>Tap the &#8220;+&#8221; button.<\/li>\n<li>Scan the barcode on the screen<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Continue<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If the new device has a different phone number as the older device<\/strong>, you need to add it as a new device.<br \/>\nGo to <a href=\"https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/\">https:\/\/duo.scranton.edu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose an authentication method to log into your account<\/li>\n<li>Select <em>+ Add another device<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Choose <em>Mobile phone<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts to add the new mobile phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technology Support Center<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/information-technology\/about-us\/tsc.shtml\">Technology Support Center<\/a> is located on the first floor of AMH.
