Initially the Library catalog access disruption was to occur on May 20th with Go-Live occurring on May 21st. <strong>The new date for catalog migration downtime has changed to Tuesday, May 28th with operations resuming online on May 29th.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cataloging Downtime<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold on processing of new materials until after May 28.<\/li>\n<li>This will<strong> NOT<\/strong> affect the circulation of existing materials \u2013 you can continue to borrow materials from the Library at the Library Services Desk and at Media Resource Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>On May 28<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Work stops in our current Library Service Platform and final data is migrated to FOLIO.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As the previous catalog is taken offline there will be some disruption in access to our catalog and <em>Royal Search<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Services AFFECTED by the transition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Royal Search<\/em> may be temporarily unavailable.<\/li>\n<li>Holds will not be able to be placed through<em> Royal Search.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Access to <em>My Library Accounts <\/em>will be offline.<\/li>\n<li><em>Search for Print and Media Reserves<\/em> will be offline.<\/li>\n<li><em>Lib Guides<\/em> will still be accessible through our website though some links may not be available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Services NOT affected by the transition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Library Materials and Course Reserves can still be borrowed from the Library Services Desk and Media Resource Center.<\/li>\n<li>Databases will still be accessible through our <em>A-Z list.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Illiad <\/em>will be available for interlibrary loan.<\/li>\n<li><em>Advanced eReserves search<\/em> will still be available.<\/li>\n<li><em>Cloudsource OA<\/em> will still be online and available for searching.<\/li>\n<li><em>Digital Services<\/em> will still be online and available for searching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>May 29<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>GO-LIVE DAY! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First working day on FOLIO. All operations, with the exception of EZBorrow, should be back online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part of this transition will upgrade our patron empowerment tools in <em>Royal Search<\/em>.<\/strong> If you are University Student, Faculty, or Staff member, when you log in for the first time and go to place a hold or access an article post transition you will be prompted to personalize your My EBSCO account.
