{"id":7171,"date":"2014-02-24T10:11:39","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T15:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/library\/?p=7171"},"modified":"2016-07-20T16:05:13","modified_gmt":"2016-07-20T20:05:13","slug":"spotlight-on-student-workers-ashleigh-bennett","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/library\/2014\/02\/24\/spotlight-on-student-workers-ashleigh-bennett\/","title":{"rendered":"Spotlight on Student Workers: Ashleigh Bennett"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Library would like to recognize Ashleigh Bennett, a Psychology major with a minor in Philosophy, for her hard work and commitment to the Weinberg Memorial Library.\u00a0 Ashleigh is from Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania and has worked in Media Resources\/EDLAB since August 2012.\u00a0 Ashleigh is friendly, self-motivated and organized which helps keep the department running smoothly, and she uses her creativity to design posters for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/academics\/wml\/media\/filmseries.shtml\">International Film Series<\/a>. \u00a0Her favorite perk of the job is previewing new films.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her work responsibilities, Ashleigh is a member of Circle K, a community service organization on campus, where she has volunteered at a local daycare center and for Safe Trick or Treat.\u00a0 Ashleigh\u2019s favorite hobby is photography and her photos have been published in the University\u2019s literary magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/studentlife\/studentaffairs\/student-publications\/esprit.shtml\">Esprit<\/a> for several years.\u00a0 Her recent photo submission &#8220;No Quarters&#8221;
