{"id":739,"date":"2009-04-13T09:00:21","date_gmt":"2009-04-13T13:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wmlinfospot.wordpress.com\/?p=739"},"modified":"2016-07-20T16:12:51","modified_gmt":"2016-07-20T20:12:51","slug":"seniors-vote-for-teacher-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/library\/2009\/04\/13\/seniors-vote-for-teacher-of-the-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Seniors: Vote for Teacher of the Year!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our partners in crime over at the <a href=\"http:\/\/academic.scranton.edu\/department\/ctle\/default.shtml\">Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence<\/a> (CTLE) asked us to remind graduating seniors put in their votes for this year&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/academic.scranton.edu\/department\/ctle\/awards\/toy_2008.shtml\">Teacher of the Year<\/a> award.<\/p>\n<p>CTLE says&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Each year the Graduating Senior Class selects its &#8220;Teacher of the Year&#8221;. Beginning Monday, April 20th, please vote for the faculty member who you believe best exhibits the following characteristics:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintains the highest standards of academic excellence and fairness.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inspires interest in the discipline through personal enthusiasm and dedication.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Is consistently effective in communication.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Is available outside of the classroom.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To vote, make sure to cast your electronic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/toy\" target=\"_blank\">ballot<\/a> between 9am on Monday, April 20th and 5pm on Friday, April 24th.
