{"id":3133,"date":"2013-10-02T11:19:56","date_gmt":"2013-10-02T15:19:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/tag\/?p=3133"},"modified":"2013-10-02T11:20:36","modified_gmt":"2013-10-02T15:20:36","slug":"tag-standing-sub-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.scranton.edu\/tag\/2013\/10\/02\/tag-standing-sub-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"TAG: Standing Sub-committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--[if gte mso 9]&gt;--><\/p>\n<p><!--[if gte mso 9]&gt;--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Faculty Senate, at its September 13<sup>th<\/sup> meeting, revisited the language to amend the Senate\u2019s by-laws, establishing TAG as a standing sub-committee of the Academic Support Committee.<span>\u00a0 The Senate affirmed its support of the changes.\u00a0 <\/span>The by-law changes will be sent out to the faculty for a vote in the near future.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The full text of the amendment reads:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThe Academic Support Committee has oversight of the Technology Advisory Group (TAG), a standing subcommittee of the ASC. The total membership of TAG is flexible, but should strive for representation from CAS, PCPS, KSOM and Library and Information Fluency. The subcommittee must include at least one Faculty Senator who serves as a liaison between TAG and the ASC. A Faculty Senator can, but is not required to, serve as both a liaison to the ASC and a college representative.
