The Office of Instructional Technology just announced that the University will be upgrading to Angel v. 7.4 at the end of the Spring 2010 semester.
Version 7.4 has some new features, from a new gradebook interface to easier ways to incorporate YouTube videos and RSS feeds into courses. To get a feel for what it will look like, take a look at this document highlighting the new features put together by Macomb Community College’s Center for Teaching and Learning.
The CTLE has a workshop scheduled for June 3 from 10am-12pm to help faculty members try out the new features. Visit their calendar to register for the workshop.
The exact date and time of the upgrade is still TBD.
