Stephen Whittaker, Ph.D., a professor of English and theatre, will lead a Schemel Forum evening course this fall.
According to the Schemel Forum’s web page, the description of the course is as follows:
“In his once iconic and controversial half century as a filmmaker, Woody Allen’s decade or so dating from Annie Hall and Interiors to Hannah and Her Sisters and Another Woman explores the way that the language of cinema can un-spool the fabric of the human psyche. We will screen and discuss a half dozen of the auteur’s greatest female creations.”
The course will run from Sept. 12 to Oct. 17, occurring on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room 228, Brennan Hall. Light snacks and beverages are being offered as well.
