Susan Méndez is presenting a paper entitled, “Love & Justice in Ana Castillo’s Peel My Love Like an Onion,” at the 3rd Biennial U.S. Latina/o Literary Theory and Criticism Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Latinx Lives, Matters, and Imaginaries: Theorizing Race in the 21st Century,” and it will be held at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York, April 13-15, 2017.
