Yesterday we checked out a new physical training regimen for the course – Fat Tire Snow Biking at the Flagstaff Nordic Center!

The Nordic Center, located north of the city at an elevation of approximately 8000 feet, last year added fat tire biking to its main attractions of XC skiing and snow shoeing on its groomed trails.

It’s slow going at 8000 feet in the new 12 inches of fresh light snow. But the Sweeneys were up to the task! See them above, ready to hit the trails!
