The department is happy to acknowledge our own Amye Archer for winning this year’s Provost’s Part-time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award consists of a plaque and a $500 cash prize. It will be presented to you during the Faculty Appreciation Dinner on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Prof. Archer also directs the University Writing Center, housed in the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence.
She is also the author of the poetry collections Bangs and A Shotgun Life
