An upgrade to the library’s EZproxy server is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 15. Access to library databases may be impacted while the upgrade is underway, but it should require no more than 30 minutes of downtime. We will post updates if there are any changes, and once the upgrade has successfully completed.

EBSCO services have been restored
Today’s issues with Publication Finder, Holdings Management, and Full Text Finder have been resolved.
Some EBSCO services are currently unavailable
EBSCO’s Publication Finder, holdings management, and full text finder are experiencing a service disruption. The issue is system-wide, and is currently being investigated. We will post an update when more information is available.

The update to the Library’s 24/7 chat service is now complete. You can access the chat from any of our chat boxes on the Library’s website, blog, Research Guides, and my.scranton.edu page.

Pharos Printing Issues Resolved
Pharos printing in the library has been restored.
Ex Libris Systems Downtime, May 29-30
Ex Libris will migrate to a new data center over the Memorial Day weekend, 29-30 May 2021.
This will affect our 360 products (Serial Solutions) so there may be some interruption in service with the e-Journal Portal, 360 link, and Ulrichsweb.
Please note that a system downtime of up to 24 hours is expected: Saturday, May 29 3:00pm EDT – Sunday, May 30 3:00pm EDT (Eastern Daylight Time).
Library SSO, Databases & Journals unavailable 1/23, 7am-4pm
Information Technology is performing upgrades on Saturday, January 23, that will result in Library Single Sign-On and Library Databases & Journals being unavailable between 7am and 4pm.
Here is the full list of services that will be down:
- myScranton
- Applications using Single Sign-On (includes the Banner ERP environment, Student Self-Service, Banner Admin, Employee Applications, RoyalSync, PeopleAdmin, Library SSO, Library Databases & Journals)
- Any ERP services that access the production ERP database.
