Library Focus Groups Being Hosted
The library is planning on redesigning the second floor, and we are interested in getting student perspectives on the proposed plan! To garner feedback on the plan, the library is collaborating with the University’s Counselor Training Center to host six student focus groups that will be conducted by graduate students in the counseling department.
Response to the call for student focus group participants was overwhelming with the six sessions filling to capacity within three hours of sending out the call to all students. Thank you to every student interested in participating in a focus group session!

Fr. Rob Carbonneau Promotes Passionist Exhibit on WYOU
WYOU recently interviewed Father Rob Carbonneau, Passionist Historian and Adjunct Professor of History, concerning the new Passionist exhibit currently on display in the Heritage Room. Watch the interview here! The exhibit, titled “Life, Death, and Memory: Art and Artifacts from the Passionist China Collection,” will be on display during normal library hours until April 24. On Monday, April 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room, Father Carbonneau will give a lecture focused on the Chinese Catholic witness of faith and honoring three priests who were martyred in China. Updated Video and Audio Recording Rooms
The Reilly Learning Commons’ Lecture Capture room was recently renovated to create two rooms. One for audio recording and the other for video recording. 
124i is now an Audio Recording room with an iMac that includes Audacity, Adobe Audition, and Garage Band to create podcasts or other audio projects. We have a Yeti USB Microphone available at the circulation desk for students, faculty, and staff to check out for 3 hours at a time. You can read more about podcasting and audio recording on our research guide. You can reserve the Audio Recording room by selecting 124i in the room reservation system.
124j is now a Video Recording room with a One Button Studio. The One Button Studio is a streamlined space for recording videos at the touch of a button. To use the system, you simply plug in a USB flash drive, and the camera and microphone turn on. When you are ready to begin recording, press the space bar (the button), and a countdown timer will display on the monitor. When you are finished recording, press the button again. Game Night This Thursday!!
The Library will be hosting a Game Night in the Reilly Learning Commons on Thursday, March 21st from 6:30-10PM. Some of the games available are MarioKart, Super Smash Bros., Rock Band, Just Dance, and a variety of new and exciting board games!
Have games of your own? Students are encouraged to bring their favorite board games and card games to enjoy with friends!
Free Pizza, Soda, and Snacks will be provided! All students are invited to join in the fun!
